What you’ll need:
1. Thin cord or rope (I used a navy blue curtain tie-back with gold streaks weaved into it) – You’ll need enough to wrap around your wrist 3 times plus a few more inches just in case it comes out a bit too tight. Trust me, you always want it too long rather than too short. You can always trim later but you can’t add length back! I definitely learned this the hard way!
2. A vintage button as the clasp
3. Some thread
4. A needle
5. A glue gun
Here’s a quick step-by-step tutorial. This bracelet will take 30 minutes or less if you have all of the supplies ready.
Use the glue gun on both ends of the rope so that it doesn’t fray.
Sew button onto one end of the rope.
Sew one end of the rope into a loop big enough for the button to pass through.
Wrap it around your wrist 3 times and twist the rope around the button clasp to get this look.
